Slough Thermal Insulation Services are full members of the Thermal Insulation Contractors Association, employing a highly trained team of Thermal Insulation Engineers, with many years of experience.
Our present client list includes Hospitals and Pharmaceutical Companies where sterile working procedures are essential, also Universities, Local Authorities and Facilities Management Companies. We have recently undertaken pipe insulation works on a number of Government Sites.
As well as pipe insulation, we also insulate tanks, vessels, cylinders and ductwork, using Mineral Wool, Glass Fibre, Phenolic Foam and 'Armaflex' Elastomeric insulation materials.
Whilst Aluminium Foil faced insulation section, slab and quilt is a popular and economic finish for internal application, we also offer Isogenopak (rigidised pvc), Stucco and Plain Aluminium, Aluzinc and also Stainless Steel cladding.
For external applications Polyisobutilene sheeting tends to be the standard but where a higher level of finish is required, again Aluminium or Aluzinc cladding can be applied.
Where Elastomeric insulation is to be fitted externally, it is vital that it be protected from Ultra Violet rays, normally by applying 2 coats of 'Armafinish' paint.
Leaving valves, flanges and strainers on Steam, Heating and Hot Water systems un-insulated is very uneconomical. Where removable insulation is required we offer purpose made aluminium, aluzinc or stainless steel boxes, lined with insulation slab or quilt. Alternatively, we would recommend covers manufactured using siliconised glass cloth with mineral wool or insulfrax infill, secured in place with touch and close fasteners and draw strings, again each mat 'made to measure'.
In addition to Industrial Insulation, we also undertake Structural Insulation works both in existing and New Build projects.
As well as undertaking works for industrial, commercial and Local Authority clients we also carry out works for domestic customers.
